Schloesserland Sachsen bids you welcome
The Altzella Monastery Park is a member of the Schloesserland Sachsen association. Our team runs the grounds the whole year round. Among our tasks are the long-term planning of museum concepts, regional marketing, planning and carrying out of events, budget, working on preparations for building work, continual care of the undergrowth, green spaces and borders. In order to cope with this varied work we employ eight full-time staff in our gardening and administration section as well as two trainees and one person doing his obligatory social service year. The state-owned properties have joined together to form “Schloesserland Sachsen”, a group of 52 unique historical monuments which attract millions of visitors from Germany and abroad each year. The buildings, which together combine different styles, are an impressive record of the history of Saxony. As well as various opportunities for travel and leisure activities, Schloesserland Sachsen also offers venues for congresses and seminars.
