How to reach us
The Altzella Monastery Park is in the heart of Saxony and can be easily reached by various means of transport. Not far from the town of Nossen and on the front door of the city of Dresden, the Monastery Park is directly at the motorway junction A4/A14. Thus it is recommended that you come by car or bus, although you can also get here by rail (from Dresden, Meissen, Doebeln, Leipzig or Freiberg to Nossen station, and from there about 20 minutes by foot to Altzella Monastery).

Getting here by car:
A14 – exit Nossen/Nord – B175 direction Nossen – after the local exit Rhäsa shortly before the local access road Nossen turn right/Zellaer Strasse to park entrance
A4 – Exit Siebenlehn/Nossen – B101 direction Nossen – shortly after the local access road Nossen turn to the left (S36) – at the lower end turn left (direction Roßwein/ do NOT follow the main street direction Nossen) – about 100 meters after the level crossing turn off to the right – Zellaer Straße – to the park entrance
Getting here by train:
Nossen station can be easily reached by train from Leipzig and Dresden (where the nearest airports are), as well as from Riesa and Doebeln.
