The cafeteria at Altzella Monastery Park

Small but nice! That is our motto at the Altzella Monastery Park cafeteria. Whether you feel like just coffee and cake or something a bit more filling – here is the right place. Our small cafeteria has seating for up to 25 people.

For sale in the Museum Shop

The Museum Shop is directly in the service section on the ground floor of the Scriptorium building. Here you can find material with information about the Cistercian order, publications about the life, customs, traditions and knowledge of the monks as well as specialist publications about the monastery and monastery park at Altzella.

Look through what we have on offer and you will also find some useful and special souvenirs to take away with you, for example seeds from plants growing in the monastery garden of Altzella Monastery Park. We also sell a range of traditional foods and drinks such as the Neuzell monastery beer, selected liquors, oils and essences.
